Ashmore Family // Augusta, Georgia

Last year I was so blessed to be able to take photos for my friend’s wedding…and then later in the fall their family photos. While I still have to make time to blog their wedding photos, here are some of our favorites from their family session!

One reason I love family sessions - they take generally 30 minutes to an hour. It depends on the family, how old the kids are, how they hold up during that time, etc. But these guys were awesome. Most families I know come with kids & spouses in tow, and those in tow are usually NOT eager or excited about photos. I GET IT. I’ve been there. But you know what? You CAN have fun during family photos - even if you get caught up in stickers because you’re having so much fun running around. Did you hear that??? Run around? YES sometimes in our sessions, we run. Or just let the kids run so we can take more pictures of the parents.

So if you’re worried about how your family will do during their session - don’t be worried! And if you’re dreading it because you never liked being dragged to family photo sessions as a kid - come with a different perspective. If you’re worried or dreading it, chances are they will sense that and be the same way. But honestly - if you guys relax and have fun, wouldn’t that make up for all the other dreaded family sessions you’ve experienced? So if you’re ready for some updated family photos with your beautiful families, shoot me an email! I’d LOVE to help change your personal family photo experiences.

Lifestyle sessions are so much fun - I personally LOVE being able to capture families within their own homes. It creates a more relaxed environment and provides images that will be treasured forever of you with your little ones, or even just with your partner.

This sweet girl was 6-weeks-old for this session. It is so amazing how fast babies grow - she had changed so much since her Fresh 48 session in the hospital! And now, she’s THREE months old. Time flies, especially when you have little ones around you!

If anyone is interested in a lifestyle session, message me! I would love to brainstorm with you and create the perfect session for you & your loved ones.

Shannon of LRSO // Augusta, GA

Shannon & I have known each other ever since my first short term missions trip to Romania with Curtis Baptist Church through Livada Orphan Care. We’ve both moved away and then back again, kept up through social media, and finally reconnected in person this past year. She’s such an encouragement to anyone around and I’m proud to know her.

Shannon is the owner and operator of LRSO (Little Red Stool Organizing). She’s talented and thoughtful, easy to work with. She helps you go through things that otherwise might be difficult for you to do on your own. Shannon is GREAT with little projects like drawers and closets. And the even bigger projects, too, from cabinets to garages. When you’re ready to ORGANIZE your home or office or your life, she’s the one you should contact. Trust me, you won’t regret it! (Hint - this would also make the BEST Christmas gift for anyone you know!)

This headshot session was fun for us - I’m so used to working with multiple people in photos so being able to work with ONE person was a really great for me. I LOVE one on one sessions and helping someone become comfortable in front of the camera. So if you’re looking for headshots, message me - I would love to help you feel comfortable in front of the camera and capture your true self in images.

Donna & Vince // Spring 2019

This sweet couple met me at Savannah Rapids earlier this year so we could snap a few photos of them together with Donna’s little baby bump before Vince’s deployment. It was an honor to work with them and capture this time for them!
